Looking to get a new phone...?

what we have is an at&t family plan, but all we have is talk and text. no internet access or anything. im about sick of the phone i have and want something better. something faster that u can better customize. any suggestions? i would also like to make some sort of trade and take the price down a bit. ive got the samsung strive and a motorola i465...if they'll even take the motorola.
